The Capital School District is accepting applications for its Citizens Budget Oversight Committee until 4:30 on March, 7, 2018. The committee seeks two parents of children, an educator and a citizen residing within the district. Applications can be obtained by calling (302) 857-4205 or at http://www.capital.k12.de.us/page/2986 and must be submitted to the District Office.
Applicants must agree to serve a two-year term on the committee and attend DOE training within three months if appointed to the committee. The committee will meet at least four (4) times a year to review the financial condition of the district.
